Montblanc Rouge et Noir Safety Fountain Pen – No. 1 Long – 1920s Original Montblanc Rouge et Noir safety fountain pen, No. 1 Long, produced in the 1920s. The pen is in good overall condition for its age. The barrel bears the inscription “W. Kessler”, commonly found on Rouge et Noir pens distributed in Italy, referring to W. Kessler, Montblanc’s historical importer in Milan. Features the early touring knob pattern and an original Simplo nib. The cap shows a small dent. Please note that the cap may have been slightly shortened, although it fits and functions correctly. A nice example of an early Montblanc safety pen.
