It works with Sony FE/E mount lenses (and will autofocus perfectly), it can also be used with manual focus lenses (with the right adapter) Making it perfect for infrared or astrophotography. For infrared it can be used with any infrared photographic filters (580,720,760,850,940 nm etc).
