A quality Victorian box with lock and key lined with green baize. The outside is in good order with a small piece of replaced veneer on the left hand side (see photos) It has an ornate mother of pearl cartouche and a similar escutcheon with a minor historical repair. The baize on the bottom has been replaced. There are some fine cracks in the veneer on the top but it has very pretty grain and secure, no flaking. (see photos) The lock key and hinges are original. length 30cm , width 23cm height 12 cm.
