Coat all internal surfaces of machined parts (especially cylinder walls, pistons, piston rings, main bearings, valve stems etc) with a liberal layer or Graphogen. It will not run off treated parts during storage and all internal treated parts are protected right from application by a Graphogen layer of concentrated colloidal graphite.
