Colocasia esculenta 'Black Coral' (Taro) isa tuberous, frost-tender perennial with long-stalked, glossy, heart-shaped, jet-black leaves. Unlike the leaves of Alocasia which point skyward, the leaves of Colocasia droop and point toward the ground.
