Everything is sewed except the braid which is glued on. The shade is made up of layers of silk and burnout (devore). The lining is natural satin silk, the second layer of the larger panels is custom dyed satin silk topped with the custom dyed burnout and the pleated panels comprise a lining which is natural satin silk, the second layer is custom dyed French chiffon with another layer of of custom dyed French chiffon pleated.
