Variac transformer made by Claude Lyon’s model 50B. 0 -270 volt output 240 volt input and it looks like it can be 110volt as well see photo,s 20 amp 43cm across mounting lugs 37cm diameter 26 cm tall 37 kg weight When i bought this i was told it came from an army base and was used to dim the bases lights at night to allow people to sleep and they could be turned up when needed. I have owned this for over 30 years and i use to use it to boost my welders power till i got a bigger welder. It still works but is only temporary wired to show voltage output I have put collection in person as this weighs more than 30kg and eBay’s postage options stop there.
