This machine is the representative short scale model "Rickenbacker 320" manufactured around 1978. This 320 is the armless version of the Rickenbacker 325, which is familiar to 60's Britsh Beat fans as a result of John Lennon's use of "The Beatles", but this individual has the "325" specification with the R tailpiece removed and a Bigsby type arm attached.
