Vintage small green Thuringian hone The stone measures 123 x 49 x 12-13mm thick The stone has some “squiggles” on the surface, these are tiny fractures in the stone material, I have added super thin ca glue to these cracks and then lapped. I attempted to lap through these but in all honesty ended up just wasting material. I probably removed 3-4mm of stone trying to chase these out without success They cause no issues when honing but are more an aesthetic issue. The top face has been lapped flat down to 400 grit diamond plate level ready for use Having a clear out of thuringian hones as these just aren’t getting used
