Co-designed by Don Chadwick and Bill Stumpf for Herman Miller in the early 80s. The pair went on to design the famous Aero chair in 1994. This cantilever model Equa chair is designed for comfort. The cantilever gives the usual bounce expected from such design but the design of the seat shell allows the back to also flex independently of the seat, adding another level of comfort to the design.
