I got this filter with the tank i bought. I used it to cycle the tank and that's about it. It is just over a month old and comes with spare media. It also comes with a fluval inline clarifier. I had it fitted but its never been switched on. The only thing you might need is new hoses. See in picture. as mine were only for a bottom fed tank and not the traditional up the back over the edge ones. All this to buy would cost you upwards of £300. Mine is practically new so its a bargain at £130
