In 1964 she married author Douglas Hobbie and now lives in Conway, Massachusetts, USA. She began drawing profile views of a little girl in a bonnet and country dress around 1968. This is a cute little Holly Hobbie plate from the 1970’s or 80’s showing a scene of two little girls sharing a picnic.
