This is a beautiful antique 19th century Burmese buddha figurine or statue in brass on a plinth. The figure of Buddha pointing into the distance as this one does is a particular feature of Burmese Buddhist imagery. Measuring 22cm tall it is in good condition with just minor age related wear and a loss to the tip of the pointing finger - the base is probably a replacement for the original, and of the same period.
