These prints are all signed and numbered by Air Vice Marshal Frederick West Air Commodore Ferdinand Maurice Felix West, VC, CBE, MC (19 January 1896 – 8 July 1988) who was a senior Royal Air Force officer, aviator, and an English recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces, adding an extra layer of authenticity and uniqueness to the piece.
