I was told by the previous vendor that this item is used to place underneath a tank or some other piece of military vehicle to warm the engine before it is starting on a cold day. The item is made out of aluminium full stop total height not including the hanger is 8.5 inches or 21.5 centimeters. Diameter across the base is four inches or just over 10 centimeters full stop then total weight of the things 1.3 kilograms or three lb.
