Vintage brass marine 3 minute timer. Both ends open. Fitted foam inserts to cushion hourglass. Blue Sand. Inscription on both ends of timer says Navigare necesse est. (To sail is necessary). Approx 5.5” H. I could not find makers name. Timer is in very good vintage condition. No dents. A small scratch on one end as shown in picture. Sand flows through in a little over 2 minutes.
