A nice little brass tin from the early 1900’s, used by miners to store tobacco. The brass has a nicely aged patina to it, with some ware consistent with age, which is visible in the pictures. It’s hinge is still in good working order and is held closed by the lids rim sitting between two raised studs. Though still functional, it’s probably best kept as a shelf curio now to preserve this little piece of yesteryear.
