I installed Windows Scan to test the scanner and it worked perfectly and simply. I had never connected this scanner to my laptop before today, as the scanner was previously used with an old desktop PC I used to have. It was only ever lightly used, so has no signs of wear. It was very easy to set up and use with the Windows 11 laptop, despite Canon not offering driver support for Windows 11 for this scanner.
