The Radikal 2 has a more advanced DC motor with a stronger case with a special housing with brass threaded inserts to prevent overtightening. The new Electronics use FPGA processing, "handshaking" the motor allowing even smoother and accurate platter rotation with less vibration when compared to the MK 1 resulting in significantly better sound quality.
