Firstly if you are removing gel polish you should dampen a cotton pad with Well Jel and soak off the top layer of gel, then file off the bottom layer with a nail file. If you are removing nail varnish, simply dampen a cotton pad with acetone and wipe the varnish off the nail (this one is really easy.).
