Here is a Vintage 1950's Hand Embroidered Irish Linen Tea Cosy. This started life as a stamped Irish Linen inherited from the 1950's. It has then been hand embroidered by me using vintage threads. An inner wadded cover has then been made using an offcut of cotton fabric and wadding to keep the tea warm. Tea Cosy measures 15 by 11 inches and fits over most standard teapots. It comes with a free copy of Needlewoman and Needlecraft Magazine from the same era. Handcrafted using upcycled and vintage materials makes this tea cosy totally unique. A true vintage gem.
