This item is in good condition with just some minor age-related wear as depicted in the photos just to mention after doing internet research the pieces are supposed to represent silver and brass however I am unsure whether the contents of the pieces actually contains any silver and brass. so I would describe this item as not containing any real silver or brass within the pieces. due to age the brass and silver pieces in real life do become difficult to differentiate so due to this, please use this item as a collector's piece rather than a playable chess set, as without very strong lighting they are almost impossible to tell apart.
