A particularly nice oak coffer or bedding box, we have had a few of these but the wood grain on this one, the quality of the panels and the handles all make it a really fine example. It’s in good condition and ready to go, the interior still has its storage drawers and candle box lid with wooden hinge intact and working. One leg has had an oak veneer added historically that has peeled off a bit, it doesn’t require anything to fix in my opinion but obviously it could be replaced with a little new veneer or stained to match in.
