For sale is a large, 48cm tall, 1950s Quartite Creative table lampbase. Made from chalkware, it has a textured surface. It is a creamy white with an orange and brown design, typical of the time. The lamp has been rewired fairly recently and is in good working order. It was safety tested a year ago. There are some small marks to the surface of the lamp, so please check all photos carefully. However, these do not really show when the lamp is in use. The base is not in perfect condition (see photo), but it sits well on a table with no wobbles and again none of this is visible when in use. Shade is not included. Collection from London SE23 is preferred due to size, weight and fragility, but I can post, with postage reflecting the above.
