I have never seen an infill plane "laminated" or "stacked" like this one. The craftsman did an excellent job with it. They put several pieces of sheet steel together. It has obvious pitting and wear however it does seem to have a lower angle than most. Wedge seems to be original and in good usable condition with some wear. If you have any questions please ask.
