This video player powers up fine and stays powered up so looks like power supply capacitors are ok Cassettes load and eject fine, but if will not play, fast forward or rewind tapes. The player ‘hums’ when attempting to do this as if something is jammed? I have programmed the time fine and the display responds to various button selections. The remote control operates the unit fine, although the display on the remote does not work.
