This machine originally came with Windows 7 and there is a Windows sticker on the machine. As I was using it for navigation on my yacht I didn't bother doing all the updates and installed Linux Mint instead. I am sure that Windows could be re-installled or simply switch hard drives. The machine is in very good condition but the two batteries will only allow for 4 to 5 hours work before you have to plug in again. Comes with original charger. This is a great machine for harsh enviroments but don't expect it to be super fast, it is an old machine.
