After buying two of these lamp stands in the table top version , I loved them so much that I bought the floor lamp. Unfortunately I have nowhere for it to go sadly. They are easy to paint any colour ( please see the short blue one I did for example). I’m no decorator but it was actually very easy and satisfying. Equally , they look great left as natural wood and have a nice natural finish which shows the wood grain. This lamp stand has never been used and I also have a lovely mid blue shade that goes nicely with it if anyone is interested?
