Vintage Thewalt Alt-Grenzau beer stein from Germany 1894 original mold. The stein is made of stoneware with a cobalt blue glaze. There are no chips or cracks that I can see. There is a small hole made by the manufacturer for a lid shown in photos but it does not have a lid. Please see all photos on condition.
