The U97A Mini-Cat� is KVM and Audio over UTP (Cat5/5e/6) extension system. The remote user can be up to 500 feet away from the PC connected via a UTP (Cat5/5e/6) cable. The Receiver also has digital video compensation to compensate for signal loss at longer cable lengths.
