This is a modern replica,not to be confused with an original or antique piece.very nicely made in brass, with its own wooden box, with brass anchor set into the lid.Fully extended it measure 27.75 inches.The larger optic is 1.5 inches in diameter.The extendable sleeve and the centre section are both leather covered.The telescope weighs 1095 gms..The box measures 12.75 by 4 by 3.5 inches and is varnished externally. This is a great replica for use in theatrical productions etc,but due to the inferior optics,is not a useable instrument and should not be purchased with this in mind.
