Nanocamp belts for the TD166 are manufactured in two different lengths, a slightly longer belt optimised for the 50Hz pulley and a shorter one for the 60Hz pulley. Consequently, the standard belt is a compromised length and doesn't provide the optimum balance between drive tension and bearing wear for either setting.
