Blue-and-White, Chinese, Porcelain Snuff Bottle with Fu Lion

A robust, high-fired porcelain snuff bottle finely painted in underglaze cobalt blue with a vivid depiction of a Fu lion (shizi) in motion, playing with a brocade ball. A hand-painted red mark on the base reads “古月軒” (Guyuexuan), often apocryphal and used on decorative porcelain in the Republican era.
