Having had many Peltor ear defenders I can say these are truly excellent - quality first class, performance is excellent The headset takes 2 off AAA batteries and has a very sensitive mic on each earpiece - no foam windshields needed like the peltor! There is a small jack socket with rubber cover to take the supplied cable used to connect to ancillaries The black volume control on one side is also the on/off switch for the ear defenders BRAND NEW AND BOXED
