This lovely looking handmade LARGE copper jam pan has been skilfully made with a castellated cramped seam down and around the circumference of the body of the pan. The handles are huge and strongly riveted to the body of the pan. Manufactured by the premium makers of domestic copperwares, Jones Bros of Down Street London ranked alongside Benham and Froud for quality. This pan is no exception. Its weight is 6.5 Kilos or 14 Lbs 3 ounces. In a lovely condition and made circa 1870. The diameter is 18" rim to rim and the height is 5 1/2" and the overall width is 23 1/2" and will give service for many more years and will be a stunning addition to your kitchen copperware collection. There is some crazing to the inside of the pan probably done in the jam making process.
