The tri-band feature enhances the performance by dedicating a band to each device, reducing congestion and allowing for a faster connection. You can add more nodes to further extend coverage. Plus each node has two network ports, which you can use to either plug two wired devices in (e.g. a PC, printer etc) if they do not have their own WiFi ability, or use one port as a backhaul uplink.
