Selling this old solid brass cork insertion tool. It’s an antique "Le Merveilleux" style corker (or "Bouchonneuse"). It is made of heavy, solid brass and feels very sturdy. The mechanism moves freely—you pull the lever to compress the cork and push it into the bottle neck. The orange washers/spacers at the top are original but dried out and cracking from age, which is normal for a piece this old. The brass has a nice dull patina. I haven't polished it because I think it looks better as is. Great piece for a wine collection or bar display. See photos for condition.
