We have tested the following: Freeview loads You can record TV programmes onto HDD and onto disc. It plays DVDs Used the remote to record, play, stop and to access guide & functions. I can not guarantee all the functions work because it does have a lot of functions to test. There are some marks on top of the DVD Player please check out the photos. It comes complete with power cable and remote but not the batteries or HDML Cable
