Mexican fire opal set in sterling silver. A vintage ring from The Great Frog jewelry store in the 1990’s. It is the jeweller for the Harry Potter films. It is a size q and a half(8 and a half). It was resized at the time of purchase, and maintains its sterling stamp. It is in superb condition and has a beautiful patina and charm. It is the classic great frog eye ring design with the silver graduated balls around the oval, but with the fascinating opal that is so organic and reveals its sparkle when it is moved. The predominant colours are green and orange. The tan colour around the fire bit reveals the opal’s mystery in a fascinating way. A truly stunning piece of jewellery!
