The hard drive has been upgraded from 80gb to a good condition 320gb hitachi Hard drive via Sony's officially supported HDD upgrade process. Everything functions and works well. Console has been opened up, cleaned out and had new thermal paste applied to the processors, which should increase the machine's longevity significantly.
