The shelf need to be supported from the back as well, all the way down to its bottom. To make sure get in touch first and ask us when can it be dispatched. Knock your wall, if it sounds very hollow, like there is a space (cavity) behind it, then there is a space behind it and it is plasterboard/drywall.
