1642 Dated Charles I / Jacobean Hand Carved English Oak Coffer Linen Chest Trunk
This piece is stunning, its hand carved to the front with the date 1642 to the right and the initials BD to the left. The chest itself dates to a little earlier, I would say 1620-1630 making it Jacobean hence the style of carving.
