This sale is a 1944 (Printed February 1944) US Army "Special Strategic Map" of the Malay Peninsula plus the associated catalog cards. The map was developed by the United States Army Map Service during World War 2. The map has a print area of about 14" x 22” +/- (22" wide including the large left margin) and the scale is about 1:3,000,000). The map is in near perfect condition, catalog numbers written in the lower right in pencil. This map is suitable for framing and guaranteed original. This map will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.
