This is a fine mechanical alarm clock for travel or everyday use. The absolute greatest thing about a German made alarm clock you know it will last longer than anything else will. It winds smoothly and sets even smoother. The alarm works well and has a medium sound which is nice to wake up to. It will sit in a number of different ways on your side table and has glow in the dark hands and dots for the hours to be seen at night. It all works as it should.
