An original pair of Hans Wegner GE-240 Cigar chairs. These are the rare earlier version in solid oak, reupholstered in quality striped grey/light brown fabric. Designed by Hans J Wegner for Getama, these are a Scandinavian Mid-century design classic manufactured in Denmark between 1950-1959. Their condition is excellent with normal signs of age. Many of these refurbished chairs feature only imitation foam cushions but these have their original spring cushions in perfect condition. They have been reupholstered for sale.
