Ideal board for first timers as it is soft and the flat profile is forgiving. My wife used this board for 3 holidays in the French, Italian and Austrian Alps and it holds the wax well meaning you don't have to service it often. It was last waxed in Austria last year, and used for 2 days after that. The edges are sharp too. There are some age related marks, and a couple of minor scratches from stones that would easily come out with a service. This is a used board, so it does have some marks which I have done my best to photograph. It's not essential, but I would advise a service which you can get at pretty much any ski destination. Collection only, or you can arrange your own courrier.
