7.6m is how much cable is used to make the coiled cord. If you were to perfectly straighten it out, that would be it's length. A more realistic "in use" scenario would be 5m to 6m. When back to a resting state, the coiled cable is approx 1m long and if coiled liked in the photo, takes up approx 20cm x 10cm space.
