The Yamaha U1 and U3 are the benchmark modern upright pianos and much sought after for their smooth and responsive action and big and bright sound - the U1 is a great piano but the U3 being 10cm taller has an even deeper tone, most noticeable in the bass section which is far superior to many small grand pianos!
