Wonderful caddy top designed mahogany case which is in great condition for age The case has a hinged glazed front door and a hinged back door, both are in full working order There is a glass panel on either side of the case through which you can see the movement The clock has a 6.5" square brass dial with a silvered chapter ring and engraved decoration, the dial is in excellent condition It has a English 8 day 1/4 striking double chime movement by Elliott of London with a platform escapement The movement Chimes either the Westminster/Whittington on every 1/4 and on the hour after the musical chime has finished it will strike the amount hours Movement is in full working order keeping good time and striking as it should as you can see in the video The clock has superb proportions and measures 12.
