JVC HR-XV1 vhs vcr video player & dvd player combi. This vcr & dvd combi powers up and if a video tape is inserted it will start playing it. However, none of the other functions seem to work. You cannot stop, rewind or fast forward the tape and also you cannot use the dvd player since the switch mode button doesn't work.
